Okay, we have a few rules for you to follow.
1. Be respectful to the members and staff. Yes, in role plays fights may start and people might insult others, but on't take it OOC.
2. Please keep your role plays lengthy. Two to three paragraphs minimum. We understand that some days may not be as great as others, but try to refrain from one-liners.
3. Make sure to rp in order if you have more than two people in your thread.
Ex. Elena, Damon, Caroline, Elena, Damon, Caroline
4. Please keep the more sexual scenes for somewhere else. Making out is fine, just no descriptive sex.This is a PG-13 site.
5. Please refrain from using heavy swear words such as f**k and c**t.
6. Watch your spelling and punctuation. We understand that sometimes mistakes are made, but we'd like to see full, proper sentences as often as possible.
7. If you're playing a cannon character, play them correctly. Characters can date who they want, as long as it's okay with the other member, and is role played.
8. We will give you 3 days to apply for a character. If you're character is made-up, check to make sure the Face Claim isn't taken, unless you and that member have agreed to be doppelgangers or twins.
9. NO GOD MODING! God Moding is when a character controls another character.
Ex. Elena walked into the Salvatore Boarding House, calling out for Damon. He ran down the stairs quickly and looked at her. "Hello Elena." She smiled softly, "Damon."
Elena can't control what Damon does. She'd have to wait until he'd posted a reply before she was able to do anything.
10. Please try to role play at least three times a week. If you're going away, post in the "Going Away" Section, so that we don't think you've lost interest and re-open your character.
11. Your character can die. If that happens. Message one of the witches and they'll role play a spell to bring you back. If they don't respond within 24 hours, you can re-spawn yourself. Just make sure you role play your character being confused when they wake up.
12. If you want to become a vampire and your human, ask one of the vampires to turn you, and you guys can role play it out
13. I don't care how many characters you have, as long as you can handle your updates. If you leave an update for too long, it'll be marked as a dead thread, and we'll lock it.
14. Most importantly, HAVE FUN! We created this site for others to enjoy with us.
